“The Gallery Does Not Accept Unsolicited Artist Submissions”

Gallery Guidelines

  • Unaccompanied minors are not permitted in the Gallery.
  • Groups over 10 people are not permitted in the Gallery without prior reservations.
  • Please do not consume food or drink in the galleries.
  • Back packs and bags larger than cabin bag size (20 x 15 x 8 inches), sports or recreational equipment, musical instruments, large wheelie bags or boxes are not permitted into the gallery.
  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the Lehman College Campus.
  • Please respect the rights of other visitors to quiet contemplation and study.
  • Please do not touch the works of art on display. Even clean hands can damage surfaces.
  • Photography in the main galleries is allowed for personal, non-commercial purposes only. It is the visitor’s responsibility to ensure no copyright is infringed. The use of flash and tripods is prohibited.
  • Lehman College Art Gallery is committed to ensuring that the galleries are safe, inclusive and respectful places. We will take immediate action when this is not supported by those visiting our site.

Take the “4”or the “D” line to the Bedford Park Boulevard station. Walk west to the campus.

Take the Major Deegan Expressway (1-87) to the Van Cortlandt Park exit and turn left following Van Cortlandt Park up the hill. Make right onto Goulden Avenue. Go three blocks to college-the gallery is on the left in the Fine Arts Building at Gate 4. Parking is available.

OR

Take the Saw Mill/Henry Hudson Parkway to the Mosholu Parkway exit. Take the right turn lane just before the traffic light and go one block to Sedgwick Avenue. Make a quick left then a right onto Goulden Avenue. Go three blocks to college- the gallery is on the left in the Fine Arts Building at Gate 4. Parking is available.
